This is a proposal to retire the word homewards in favor of homeward.

\”Bound homewards\” → \”bound homeward.\” Going home doesn\’t need decoration.

‘Homeward bound’ is a folk song. ‘Homewards’ is what you say when you’re trying to sound like a folk song.
