[Proposal] fungi → funguses

This is a proposal to retire the word fungi in favor of funguses.

Same Latin plural problem. We eat mushrooms, not mushroomes.

Scientists say fungi. Chefs say mushrooms. These are different things in different contexts.

Fungus/fungi is a scientific term that happens to overlap with cooking. Let science keep its Latin.
