    This is a proposal to retire the word cacti in favor of cactuses.

    Latin plural in English. Cactus → cactuses. We don\’t say \”cacti\” for anything else.

    Cacti is fine. Cactuses is also fine. Both are used. One is Latin, one is English, and nobody planting a cactus cares.

    This is a false fight. Let people use whichever they want.
